Miniature Horse | Born 2006 | Joined NTRC as one half of our favorite tiny duo

Snickers may be small, but he plays a big role at NTRC—especially in our unmounted sessions where participants can learn, connect, and grow alongside him. Whether he’s walking through obstacle courses, helping demonstrate grooming skills, or just posing for photos, Snickers brings his own brand of mini magic to the barn.

He’s also one half of our beloved mascot team, frequently spotted at open houses, school programs, and special events. Sometimes he’s the understated straight man to Pete’s wild antics—but other times? He’s the one hamming it up for the camera in full costume.

At the end of the day, Snickers is a barn favorite for visitors and volunteers alike. Small but mighty, sweet but spunky—he helps make NTRC feel like home.
